Role of adsorbed NO in [N.sub.2]O decomposition over iron-containing ZSM-5 catalysts at low temperatures
Article Abstract:
Transient response and temperature-programmed desorption/reaction (TPD/TPR) methods are used to analyze the formation of adsorbed N[O.sub.x] from [N.sub.2]O and its influence during [N.sub.2]O decomposition to [O.sub.2] and [N.sub.2] over FeZSM-5 catalysts at temperatures below 653 K. The reactivity of the loaded oxygen with respect to CO oxidation is compared in the presence and without surface N[O.sub.(x,ads)] species.

Framework composition effects on the performance of steam-activated FeMFI zeolites in the N(sub 2)O-mediated propane oxidative dehydrogenation of propylene
Article Abstract:
The N(sub 2)O-mediated oxidative dehydrogenation of propane (ODHP) to propylene was investigated in the temperature range of 673-773 K over stream-activated FeMFI zeolites with different framework compositions. A tapered element oscillating microbalance (TEOM) coupled to on-line analysis products were applied to simultaneously monitor activity and mass changes during the ODHP reaction.
